Trilatic Data · September 2026 · CSV with a method sidecar · from $490 per state extract
Under 45 CFR 180.50 every US hospital must publish its negotiated rates, in a comprehensive machine-readable file, free of charge and open to automated download. We crawled those files for 1,889 hospitals in July and August 2026 and hold the rows in an indexed corpus. We license extracts of that corpus to buyers who are not a provider, a plan, an issuer or an administrator of either: benefits consultants, stop-loss underwriters, researchers, journalists and diligence teams.
One row per hospital, billing code and payer, with these columns: hospital name, state and identifier; the source file URL and crawl date; code type, code and description; billing class and setting; the negotiated rate; the standard-charge minimum and maximum; and the payer and plan names. A non-party licence variant omits the payer and plan columns. Every delivery carries a `.method.json` sidecar recording the parameters, file counts, crawl-date range and the rule citation. No rankings, percentiles or comparative columns are ever produced — the extract is source rows, not a scorecard.
1,889 hospitals; strongest in TX, CA, OH, CO, FL, AL, IN, IL, MI and NJ. Some ingested rows carry a payer slug rather than the full plan name; where that is the case the method sidecar says so. The corpus is benchmark-grade, not contract-grade: it reproduces what the hospital published on the crawl date and nothing more.
Licence is for internal use by the purchasing organisation only; it may not be resold, sublicensed, or redistributed in bulk to a third party, though findings derived from it may be published or cited with attribution to the hospital's own published file. Delivered on payment by bank transfer; sample rows for any state on request. The extract is provided "as is," reflects the hospital's file as of the stated crawl date, and carries no warranty that the hospital's publication was itself accurate or current — we license what the hospital published, not what it should have published.
Sold to organisations that are not a party to healthcare payment disputes. Not sold to hospitals, health systems, physician groups, health plans, issuers or their administrators. Every purchaser is recorded on our counterparty ledger; if we are later certified as a dispute resolution entity, we recuse from any dispute involving a purchaser.
Email research@trilatic.com with your organisation, role, the states and codes you need. We reply within one business day with sample rows and an invoice.
